An Islay 12 Year Old is a single malt in the Dalgety series from Hannah Whisky Merchants. It was distilled on 22 October 2009 and bottled on 22 July 2022 at a natural strength of 51.8% ABV.
It matured for 12 years in three refill sherry casks, numbered 1, 2 and 3, and this small batch yielded 722 bottles. It is non-chill filtered, with no added colouring.
The character is classic Islay: sweet smoke and brine, balanced by the soft, fruity warmth of refill sherry wood.
