anCnoc 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Knockdhu Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, in a 70cl bottle. The spirit is condensed using copper worm tubs.
It is matured for 12 years in a mix of ex-Bourbon, ex-sherry and second-fill American oak casks, giving a light, honeyed and fruity whisky with subtle floral character.
The nose is soft and aromatic, with honey, sweet lemon, ripe green apple, floral blossom and a hint of sponge cake. The palate is sweet and fruity, with honeyed malt, lemon zest, sweet spice, vanilla and gentle oak. The finish is clean, medium to long, with sweet oak and citrus.
