The 12 Year Old is the entry expression in the anCnoc range, made at the Knockdhu distillery. It was matured in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 40%, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is aromatic and fairly robust, with honeysuckle, fresh flowers, cereals and barley. The palate is medium in weight with good sweetness: Madeira, winter spices, mocha, Crème de Cacao, herbal hints and toasted granary bread. The finish is of medium length, with oak and barley playing well against each other.
