anCnoc 16 Year Old is a single malt from Knockdhu Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured entirely in American oak ex-bourbon casks for 16 years.
It is bright lemon gold in colour, medium-bodied and smooth. The nose has fresh lemon peel, green apple, floral blossom, honeyed malt and a little vanilla. The palate is crisp and lively, with candied citrus, yellow plum, vanilla, honey and light oak spice.
The finish is long and smooth, with lingering fruit sweetness and warm oak spice.
