AnCnoc 16 is a single malt from the Knockdhu distillery in Aberdeenshire, which has been making whisky since 1894. The name is Gaelic for 'the hill'.
It matured for 16 years in hand-selected ex-bourbon casks of American oak.
Crisp apples and juicy pears on the nose sit alongside vanilla, caramel and a touch of citrus. The palate is smooth, with toffee apples, creamy honey and orange, and the finish stays sweet with apple and honey.
