This is a single cask anCnoc from the Knockdhu distillery, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 at 50.5%. Cask 638 was an ex-bourbon cask and yielded 276 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is delicate, with spiced fruit cake and vanilla custard, then earthier, woody notes and fresh pineapple. On the palate, fresh green apples meet creamy dark chocolate, lemon zest and bourbon cask character. The finish is medium in length, with gentle smoke and warm spice.
