anCnoc 2009 Limited Edition

This is a vintage single malt from the Knockdhu distillery, sold under the anCnoc name. It is a 2009 limited edition. The whisky matured in Spanish and American oak casks. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and with natural colour, and has a bright golden appearance. The nose combines gentle spice from American oak with citrus, green apple and sweet toffee, over the honey and citrus character of the distillery. On the palate there is rich spice, sweet green apples and dark chocolate with a touch of butterscotch. The finish is soft and delicate.
