anCnoc Peated Sherry Cask Batch 3 is a Scotch single malt from Knockdhu, made from a combination of peated and unpeated spirit, in a 700ml bottle.
It first matured in American oak casks and was then finished in sherry butts from Jerez, Spain.
The nose has sweet smoke with barbecue and coastal notes, stewed blueberries, honey and salinity. On the palate come ashy smoke, cinnamon, black pepper and red peppercorns, with berry fruit emerging later. The finish is of medium length, with ash, salinity, fruit and a little butter cream.
