anCnoc Sherry Cask Finish Peated Edition

This is a limited edition single malt from the Knockdhu distillery, sold under the anCnoc name. It combines peated malt with a finish in an ex-sherry cask. Knockdhu stands on the edge of Speyside near the village of Knock and was founded in 1894. Its two pot stills still have the same shape as when the distillery was established. The nose has sweet honey and tropical fruit, cinnamon, rich toffee and gentle bonfire smoke. On the palate are toffee apples wrapped in warming spice, deep vanilla and a rich, sweet, smoky character. The finish is long, with wood smoke, caramel and vanilla.
