anCnoc Sherry Cask Finish is a single malt from Knockdhu, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle without an age statement. It is a permanent addition to the distillery's range.
It combines peated and non-peated Knockdhu spirit. After an initial maturation in American oak casks, it is finished in sherry butts from Jerez. A peated sherry expression was first released in 2020 for the Swedish market, and this one was made for anCnoc's other main markets.
Dark amber in colour, the nose offers sweet honey, tropical fruit, cinnamon, rich toffee and delicate campfire smoke. The palate brings toffee apples coated in warming spices, deep vanilla and a sweet, smoky character. The finish is long, with wood smoke, caramel and vanilla.
