Angelisco Blanco Tequila

This is a blanco tequila from Angelisco, made in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% Blue Weber agave. The agave grows in red, mineral-rich volcanic soil in the Los Altos region, at an elevation of 6,000 feet. The Aceves family, with over 100 years of craftsmanship, makes it in small batches, using 8 kilos of agave for each litre of tequila. The bottle is plain, with a recycled paper label and an eco-friendly cap. It is crystal clear, with aromas of green pear, white pepper and yellow bell pepper. The taste is of caramelised agave, peppercorn and minerals.
