Angostura Aromatic Bitters (20cl, 44.7%)

Angostura Aromatic Bitters is a cocktail bitter from Trinidad and Tobago, bottled at 44.7% in a 200ml bottle. It has been made since 1824 to an unchanged recipe, and the exact composition is still a closely kept secret. It was first developed to ease stomach and digestive complaints, but is now used mainly to add depth to spirits and to mixed drinks such as the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan. It also has a place in the kitchen, where it is used to season desserts and sauces for fish and meat dishes.
