A Dogliani DOCG from the Langhe in Piedmont, made from Dolcetto grown on calcareous-clay soils that give depth and minerality. It shows an elegant structure and persistence, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by light spicy notes and bitter almond. On the palate it is velvety but vibrant, with a harmonious finish that is slightly tannic and underlines its territorial character. It pairs well with rustic, savoury dishes such as grilled meats and medium-aged cheeses.
