This is a 10 year old Annandale single malt, matured in a single first fill bourbon cask. Only 205 bottles were filled for this Man O' Words edition, a tribute to King Robert the Bruce. The balance of smoke and smoothness is credited to the distillery's Twin Spirit stills.
The nose is an intense smokiness, balanced by aromatic apples and a fine touch of vanilla. On the palate sweet toffee meets spicy smoke, and the finish is long and sweet with a subtle, smouldering smokiness.
