A single cask Annandale from the Man O' Words line, the distillery's unpeated range inspired by Robert Burns. It was distilled in 2017 and matured in two steps: first in a first-fill Bourbon barrel, then in a new first-fill Bourbon barrel.
Annandale bottled it in 2023 from cask 1639 at a cask strength of 60.7%, filling 261 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings soft vanilla, bright citrus, apple and pear with a malty edge. On the palate come butterscotch, barley sugar, caramel and creamy toffee, with light spice and oak. The finish is long, with oak spice, citrus, a nutty note and the sweetness of cooked apples.
