This is a single cask Annandale from the Lowlands, from the unpeated Man O' Words style. This Founders Selection matured in a single ex-Oloroso sherry butt, number 1023. It was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 61.1%, in a 70cl bottle with a tube.
The edition is 432 bottles, with no added colour and no chill-filtration.
The nose has freshly stewed apple and golden sugar syrup, with dried fruit, clove and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, with malt, fresh herbs, ground coffee, spiced nuts and dark chocolate. The finish is long, sweet and smooth, with lingering spice and sherry notes.
