Antica Distilleria Quaglia Liquore China (70cl)

An Italian liqueur from Antica Distilleria Quaglia, made by macerating herbs and roots, in particular Cinchona Calisaya bark, in high-quality alcohol, followed by slow maturation. The nose is intensely aromatic, with bitter orange, spices and a slightly bitter note from the cinchona bark. On the palate it is balanced and complex, with flavours recalling wood and spices, and a lasting finish. It can be enjoyed neat at room temperature or slightly chilled, or used as a base for cocktails.
