Antiquity Blue is a blended whisky from India, made mainly in Karnataka and bottled at 42.8%. It was launched in 1992 by Shaw Wallace and is now part of United Spirits Limited, a Diageo subsidiary.
The blend joins Indian malts with Scotch grain spirit from Cameronbridge Distillery in Scotland, matured in imported white oak casks.
Antique gold in colour, it has a malty, woody nose with hints of peat and heather. The palate is smooth and velvety, with oak over a mellow malt base and a touch of spice. The finish is long, with lingering oak and spice.
