Arbikie – 1794 Highland Rye Single Grain Scotch Whisky

Arbikie 1794 Highland Rye is a single grain Scotch whisky made at Arbikie Highland Estate in Scotland from estate-grown Arantes rye, Viscount wheat and Odyssey malted barley. It is matured in charred American oak with Pedro Ximénez cask influence, which brings sweetness and fruit alongside the rye spice. The nose has cloves and warming spice with maple-like sweetness and soft oak. On the palate, orange marmalade and honey sit with lively rye spice, cinnamon and toasted oak. The finish is warming and persistent, with lingering spice, citrus sweetness and gently drying oak.
