Ardbeg – Ardcore Committee Release 2022 (50.1%)

Ardbeg Ardcore Committee Release 2022 is an Islay single malt bottled at 50.1% ABV for the Ardbeg Committee. It is the first Ardbeg distilled from heavily roasted black malt barley, and it was matured in ex-bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered. Ardcore was created for the ard-core of Islay and takes a punk-rock attitude as its theme. It is typically described as having leather-clad peat, bittersweet malt and a spiky confectionery sweetness, alongside dark roast coffee, liquorice and burnt sugar.
