Ardbeg Smokiverse is a single malt from the Islay distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 48.3% ABV.
Ardbeg lies on Islay's south coast, on the road from Port Ellen to Kildalton. Its name means 'little height'. The water for the distillery comes from Loch Arinambeast and Loch Uigeadail, and the whiskies are known for their smoky, peaty and salty character with strong phenolic notes.
The site was popular with illicit distillers before the present distillery was built. Glenmorangie PLC took it over in 1997, and Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy bought that company in 2004.
