Ardmore 10 Year Old is a peated Highland single malt, selected by the independent family bottler Claxton's for its Warehouse No. 1 series. The cask was filled on 9 November 2015, and the whisky matured for ten years in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead.
It is bottled non-chill-filtered and at natural colour, from 214 bottles.
Peat smoke runs through the nose alongside honey, malt, plum, raisin, cinnamon and clove. The palate brings dark chocolate, malt and earthy smoke. The long finish has sweet dates, dry wood and a hint of cinnamon.
