A 14-year-old Highland single malt from Ardmore, bottled by Signatory Vintage as Edition #62 in its 100 Proof series. It matured from 2011 to 2025 in second fill Oloroso sherry butts and was bottled at 57.1% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration.
Ardmore is one of the few Highland distilleries that regularly make peated whisky. Spicy charcoal smoke forms the base here, balanced by the influence of the Andalusian sherry casks.
It is typically described as showing berries, caramel and a spicy note of ginger alongside the peat.
