This is an 11-year-old Highland single malt from Ardmore, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022 by Murray McDavid for their Benchmark Collection. It is bottled at 56.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for eight years and was then finished for three years in an Oloroso sherry cask. That single cask yielded 267 bottles.
The nose is toasty malt, spicy fruits and sweet smoke. On the palate there is fruitcake, smoky caramel and oak char. The finish is lingering peat, soft toffee and gentle spice.
