Ardmore – 12 Year Old Port Wood Finish Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Ardmore 12 Year Old Port Wood Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and has a ruby gold colour. The whisky is double cask matured, first in American white oak bourbon barrels and then in European half port pipes. Ardmore says the same traditional distilling methods have been used for 100 years. The result is light and sweet, balancing fruity and smoky notes. Sweet red apple and honey come with the subtlest hint of charcoal smoke.
