This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Ardmore, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It spent its maturation in white oak bourbon casks and carries a port wood finish.
Ardmore has used the same traditional distillation method for 100 years. The distillery is in Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire.
The nose is smoky, balanced by a sweet, fruity note of red apple and charcoal.
