This is a 12-year-old Ardmore single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from lightly peated malt and matured in bourbon and port casks.
Ardmore sits on the eastern edge of Speyside, where the barley fields of Aberdeenshire begin. The distillery contributes a great deal to the Teacher's blend, and it is now owned by Suntory, which bought Beam Inc. in 2014.
