This is a 14 year old Ardmore single malt from Claxton's Warehouse No. 8 series. It was distilled on 10 December 2009, matured in an Oloroso sherry octave cask and bottled in the summer of 2024. Only 64 bottles were filled.
The nose has barbecue smoke, sweet tobacco, cooked banana and smoked fruit. The palate is sweet and smoky with an oily texture and plenty of sweet fruit. The finish is thick and long, with dessert notes that recall a smoked liqueur.
