This is a small batch Highland single malt from Ardmore, distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2016 at 14 years old by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask series.
It was assembled from three sister refill sherry hogsheads, numbers 935, 936 and 938, and bottled at full cask strength of 57.5%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The character is smoky and sherry-tinged, with plenty of flavour.
