Ardmore – 2003/2026 22 Year Old Bourbon Barrels Mission Gold (Murray McDavid) (70cl, 55.1%)

This is a 22 year old Ardmore from Murray McDavid's Mission Gold series, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2003 and matured in two old bourbon casks, which were vmarried and bottled in spring 2026 at a cask strength of 55.1%, giving 507 bottles. The whisky is smoky, non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings citrus oil, fresh flint and boiled sweets. On the palate lemongrass and salted butter meet smoke. The finish carries gentle charring, tropical fruit and sweet malt.
