Ardmore – 2003 Distillery Label (Gordon & MacPhail) (70cl, 46%)

This Ardmore was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2022 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Distillery Label range, which uses the original distillery labels. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. The whisky matured in refill sherry hogsheads under the care of the bottler's warehouse team. The nose opens with vibrant blackcurrant, then liquorice and sweet smoke. On the palate, stewed raspberry leads to smooth orange peel and baked apples. The finish brings summer berries and oak.
