Ardmore – 2010/2021 11 Year Old Private Cask Bottling, Duncan Taylor Peated Single Cask (70cl, 54.8%)

This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from Ardmore, bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor as a single cask in its Private Cask Bottling series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 54.8%. The whisky was distilled on 29 June 2010 and bottled on 4 November 2021 from a peated cask, and 234 bottles were filled for the German market. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose is led by strong peat smoke with malt, hay, herbs and creamy vanilla. The palate is smoky and spicy, with grain, vanilla, herbs and cool smoke. The finish is long, dry and smoky, with spicy oak.
