An 11 year old Highland single malt from Ardmore, released as the Winter 2021 edition of the Signatory Single Cask Seasons series. It was distilled on 28 June 2010, finished in a second fill sherry butt and bottled on 7 December 2021 at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV. The colour is natural, it is not chill-filtered, and 723 bottles were filled.
The nose opens with medium smoke, caramel and spice, then orange peel, overripe passion fruit and red grapes. The palate shows spent match, clear wood and some leather, followed by raisins, dried dates and a hint of black tea. The finish returns to raisins with warm ash, fading to tree resin, nougat and a trace of aniseed.
