Ardmore – 2011-2022 11 Year Old Murray McDavid UK Exclusive Single Cask (70cl, 56.7%)

This is an 11-year-old single cask Ardmore from the Highlands, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022 by Murray McDavid for its Benchmark range, exclusively for the UK market. It is one of the first releases in the range's updated packaging. The whisky was finished in an Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at a cask strength of 56.7%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is malty, with spicy fruit and sweet smoke. On the palate come fruitcake, smoky caramel and oak char, leading to a lingering peaty finish with soft toffee and gentle spice.
