A 9-year-old Ardmore from the Highlands, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 by Brave New Spirits for its Cask Noir range, a series that pays tribute to classic film noir. This bottling is subtitled When Eagles Watch.
It was bottled from an ex-Islay cask and gave 255 bottles at a natural strength of 58.5%, without added colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The tasting note describes a beach bonfire and seared scallops with sea salt and fresh laverbread.
