A single cask Ardmore, a 9 year old Highland single malt distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at full cask strength by Brave New Spirits for their Cask Noir range, which carries the subtitle Where Eagles Soar. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
The whisky was finished in a first fill Madeira wine barrique, cask 800220, which gave 223 bottles at 56.7% in a 70cl bottle. Ardmore's lively smokiness is expected to sit well with the sweet, dried exotic fruit notes from the Madeira.
