Ardmore 22 Year Old is a Highland single malt distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2026 by Murray McDavid for its Mission Gold series. It was matured only in bourbon barrels, and 507 bottles were produced at 44.1% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Ardmore's gently peated spirit is the base here, and the long bourbon barrel maturation sits alongside its earthy peat character.
The flavours described are honeyed malt, soft smoke, vanilla cream, tropical fruits and polished oak.
