Ardmore – Distillery Labels 2008/2023 (46%)

This is a peated Highland single malt from Ardmore, one of the few distilleries in the eastern Highlands to use peat. Gordon & MacPhail selected it for its Distillery Labels series. The spirit was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 after 15 years of maturation. It is bottled at 46% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration, and comes in a grey box with a silver stag emblem. The flavours are described as subtle smoke, honey sweetness and tropical fruit, with the fruit gaining space as the peat softens.
