Ardmore Triple Wood is a single malt Scotch whisky in a one-litre bottle. It was matured in a mix of quarter casks, barrels and puncheons.
That combination of casks gives a fruity, caramel-led character. The nose offers chocolate digestives, honey and red berries, with a faint hint of peat.
On the palate the peat turns peppery, alongside raisins and robust vanilla. The finish is dry and smoky.
