Armorik Double Maturation (70cl, 46%)

Armorik Double Maturation is a Breton single malt from the Warenghem Distillery in Brittany, which has made French whisky since 1987. It is distilled from organic barley grown in France and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured first in Breton oak casks and then in Oloroso sherry casks. The nose is a fruity bouquet of mirabelle plum, peach, grape and citrus, with oak and spice. The palate balances wood, spice and malt with dried fruit and honey. The finish returns to malt and spice, with hints of chocolate and orange.
