This is Arran 15 Years Old, a single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled as a single private cask for MIZUNARA in Hong Kong. It matured in a sherry hogshead and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.9%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 302 bottles were filled.
The nose offers raisins, apricots and malty cereals. On the palate the sherry shows through with dried fruit and a malty sweetness. The finish is long and complex, with the sherry cask and the spirit in balance.
