This is a 17 year old Arran single malt, bottled directly at the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 12,000 bottles, matured in ex-sherry casks, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose is rich in warm spices, with candied lemon peel, preserved mandarins, golden syrup and red apples glazed with a thin coat of honey. The palate brings plenty of sweet spices and cigar tobacco, and a splash of water opens up dark chocolate and orange oil. In the finish the warm spices linger, then classic sherry wood appears before fading to a light touch of campfire.
