Arran 17 Years is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, released as a one-off run of 12,000 bottles. It matured in equal parts first-fill and second-fill ex-sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels.
It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colouring.
The nose offers green apple and orchard fruit, butterscotch and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is soft and lingering, with almond and creamy vanilla. The finish is layered, with apples, vanilla, spice, cinnamon and toasted oak.
