Arran 18 Year Old is an island single malt from the Arran distillery, shown in the distillery's new core range packaging. It matured mainly in sherry casks, with some bourbon casks added. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe dark fruit, caramel and spice, with a touch of roasted almonds and vanilla. On the palate there are toffee, orange marmalade, dark chocolate and ripe berries, supported by fine oak spice on a velvety texture. The finish is long and warm, with sweet sherry notes, spice and a hint of oak.
