Arran – 18 Years Single Cask 2006/2024 (70cl)

Arran 18 Years Single Cask is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024. It comes from one sherry cask and is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Eighteen years in the cask brings sweet dried fruit, dark wood, nuts and fine spice. The nose shows sherry-soaked raisins, dried figs, dark honey and roasted nuts, with leather, orange peel and a touch of tobacco behind. The palate is silky and layered, with red berries, chocolate, Christmas spices, toasted oak and a little coffee. The finish is long, complex and pleasantly dry, with cocoa beans, oak spice and dried fruit.
