This is a single cask Arran malt, distilled on 18 September 2006 and matured for 18 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, number 23-VA-0986. It was bottled at cask strength, 53.4% ABV, on 3 October 2024, filling 275 bottles of 70cl. It is an exclusive bottling for Switzerland, made with Charles Hofer SA.
The nose offers white flowers, peach, red apple and vanilla. On the palate there is toasted white oak, more vanilla, spicy ginger and stone fruit, alongside delicate tropical fruit. The finish is long and intense, with classic Arran character blending with the bourbon cask.
