This is a 25 year old single malt from Arran, a distillery on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. It is a blend of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, matured for a long period in oak.
The nose offers ripe apricot, juicy peach and candied fig, with heather honey, vanilla, caramel, gentle cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is soft and silky, with apricot and peach, milk chocolate, toasted hazelnut and a light woodiness. The finish is long and warming, with fruit, spice, honey and vanilla.
