Arran 25 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Arran Distillers, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The whisky matured in a mix of 65% bourbon barrels and 35% sherry casks.
Tasting notes describe a nose of deep oak and nutmeg with baked figs, sultanas and black cherries. The palate recalls spiced fruit cake with toasted almonds, cinnamon, citrus zest and manuka honey, and the finish brings creamy spice, dark chocolate and walnuts.
