This 2026 release is a 30 year old single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, and the oldest whisky the distillery has released. It matured in rare sherry hogsheads dating from the distillery's earliest years, and was released in a very small number. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has burnt orange, star anise, cinnamon and toasted oak. The palate is rich, with honey, ripe fruit, vanilla and warm spices. The finish is long, with toffee, apple and orange peel.
