Arran – Barrel Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% abv in a 70cl bottle. It is a single barrel malt matured entirely in Bourbon barrels, and is described as fresh, light and elegant. It can be served neat, with ice or in a longer drink or cocktail. The bottling strength is meant to bring out the sweet fruit character of the distillery. The nose is delicate apples and pears. The palate has balanced citrus fruit, light vanilla sweetness, a burst of apple and delicate marine notes. The finish moves through sweetness, spice, charred oak, citrus and vanilla.
